Within the system, RAP’s Cortex holds the Knowledge and Experience gained from Millions of Hours of Risk Assessment and Permitting. And being language independent, it has a common language of safety for all to keeping your entire workforce safe.
Robust Risk Assessment identifying all hazards present in the workplace that have the potential to cause harm enabling the necessary control measures to mitigate the risk.
A comprehensive yet simple to use Isolation module, allowing users to ensure that all energy sources associated with any equipment to be worked on, have been completely removed.
Digital Permit to Work is your front-line method of keeping people safe. Providing risk identification, mitigation, and communication key components of safe Control of Work.
The RAP4 Mobile module enables all users to interact with RAP wherever they are, ensuring speed and accuracy of information and keeping everyone aware of work status.
RAP’s SORM - Safety Override Risk Management solution offers visibility of current, future and historical permitting workload and highlights “overload risk” and provides additional dashboarding and reporting functionality specific to these in order to ensure operational risk management for process safety.
Reporting in RAP4 allows the user to create and run reports using current and historical data derived from all Job, Task, Isolation and Personnel activity in RAP. For example, a report could be created showing all permits completed in an area over a given time period.
The speed at which permits can be issued during turnarounds can have a large effect upon overall performance, with any delays in issuing impacting upon the time taken to get the job done. RAP’s upfront planning capability, its flexible rules and barcode controls greatly enhance this process giving potential for large savings.
RAP4 can be configured to use plot plans/maps hosted by WMS (Web Map Service) servers. Most major GIS providers support WMS. WMS maps can have multiple layers which can be turned on/off by the end user, and different information can be displayed at different zoom levels.
Yokogawa’s RAP4 eLearning portal offers training to workers in an organisation for all modules, Permit to Work, Isolations, and Administration. The portal will enable basic users to receive training in basic tasks.
The Utilities and Infrastructure module has been developed to cater for businesses with widely distributed asset bases and where a high degree of communication between consenting and affected parties is crucial.
